Group exhibition featuring eight artists and fifteen interdisciplinary works opens at hARTslane between 26th – 29th June.
To exist is to be in an undeniable state of flux – shifting endlessly between states of being, understanding and reality itself. Are we an extension of our world, or are we responsible for forming it?
Using a mix of video, sculpture, painting and photography, eight artists interpret how this intrinsic question can manifest; each piece serving as a record of transition and mark-making. The artists explore the physical, emotional and spiritual impressions that our world has made upon them – and those they, in turn, leave on their surrounding environment.
Curated by Evie Garrett, We Made an Impression invites us to explore life, death, and nature – and reflect on the imprints we leave through everyday existence.
The exhibiting artists are Abigail Bronimann, Louis Amato, Ché Deedigan, Kate Fisher, Tally Francis, Jana Haldrich-Jenkins, Luka O’Neill and Alberta Sancisi.
